My family has always been known as the deal-finding-thrift-store-savvy-Shibs, and today I am imparting to you some of the secrets that we hold very close to our hearts, our thrift stores.
First of all, my favorite thrift store that I have ever gone to is Precious Life Thrift Store. It is located at 3622 Florista St, Los Alamitos, CA. All the proceeds go to the mother's home that is located right next door. If you are willing to dig around a little bit, you can find some great steals!
From there, I always go to Grateful Hearts Thrift Store. It is located at 3982 Cerritos Ave, Los Alamitos, CA. It is quite a bit more pricey, but it is a lot more consignment & new stuff! This thrift store is run by Cottonwood Church(right down the street), and so I'm pretty sure the money goes to a "good cause".
My last stop is always Sav-Mor Thrift Store. Of course I am unable to find the address for it right now, but I have the address of a market in the same shopping center. It's 12565 Carson St
Hawaiian Gardens, CA. This one is great because the prices are unbeatable! And, they are always having sales/specials.
